Diversifuse is committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion within all of our work and our decisions, and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
As a company on a mission to ‘to foster workplaces of genuine inclusion and belonging,’ at times we may take positive action to encourage and support groups who are underrepresented in different areas of work to take part in our programs.
Equality, diversity, and inclusion are core to the principles that inform all of our work, and ensure that our services and community are accessible to, and representative of all sections of society.
Our company values and principles are:
- Inclusivity
- Empathy
- Authenticity
- Continuous Learning
- Collaboration
- Equity
- Respect
- Cultural Competence
- Impact-Driven
- Ethical Integrity
- Sustainability
- Adaptability
The aim is for our work to be truly representative of all sections of society and our community, and for everyone we work with to feel respected and able to give their best.
We are also committed against unlawful discrimination of customers or the public.
The policy’s purpose is to:
- provide equality, fairness, and respect for all we partner with and for those in our community, or benefiting from our programs.
- not unlawfully discriminate because of the Equality Act of 1974 protected characteristics of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race (including color, nationality, and ethnic or national origin), religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation.
- oppose and avoid all forms of unlawful discrimination. This includes in dealing with complaints.
Diversifuse commits to:
- Encourage equality, diversity, and inclusion in all of our work as it is good practice and makes business sense
- Create an environment free of bullying, harassment, victimization and unlawful discrimination, promoting dignity and respect for all, and where individual differences and the contributions of all our partners and clients are recognized and valued.
- Take seriously complaints of unlawful discrimination by partners, clients, suppliers, the public, and any others in the course of our work. Such acts will be dealt with as swiftly and appropriate action will be taken.
- Monitor the make-up of our community regarding information such as age, sex, ethnic background, sexual orientation, religion or belief, and disability in encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion, and in meeting the aims and commitments set out in the equality, diversity, and inclusion policy. Monitoring will also include assessing how the equality, diversity, and inclusion policy, and any supporting action plan, are working in practice, reviewing them annually, and considering and taking action to address any issues.
